I am a child of the Space Age, born in the year of Sputnik. After four years at New England's oldest college, dabbling at many things, I was bored to tears by the Chancellor of West Germany on commencement day. I made a career at something I love, met a special woman, married her, and lived with her for fifteen years before we went separate ways. Single again, I am enjoying life and would like to meet some new people.
I hereby solemnly vow never to grow old. Rage, rage against the dying of the light!
I sing in a church choir, but spiritually I am adrift; I have seen too many cruel, petty, and jealous Gods in my time, and am grieved by the hurts I see their followers do.
In my life so far I have lived in Missouri, New Orleans, upstate New York, Maryland, California, and New England. My travels have taken me from the Vieux Carre to the Hermitage, from the Pacific Ocean to the Black Sea.
I'll invite but never demand; I'll offer but never insist. Introduce me to new things, and I'll share with you the things in which I delight the most.
My goals are to share friendship, good company, and life's greatest joys; and to open myself up to new opportunities to grow, learn, and connect.
